Collection Family Music Group is made up of a collective group of talented individuals whose main focus is to service its listeners by providing the best quality music possible. We pride ourselves on being different in a world where it's become normal for others to follow the new trends instead of setting them. We consider ourselves to be "The leaders of the new school of Hip-Hop," and plan to help guide any and all artists in the right direction when it comes to building a brand, creating timeless music and standing out from the crowd while staying true to who you are and never compromising what you stand for. Nothing worth having is easily obtainable, it takes hard work and dedication in the process of perfecting your craft. We'd also like to share that It's always best to do your homework when working towards a personal goal in life so it helps you to become more aware of what you need to know in order to get to where you want to be. Collection Family's end goal is to articulate, motivate and inspire it's listeners to chase their dreams and put their best foot forward in doing so in hopes to see a generation of young, smart, talented individuals succeed in making their own dreams come true while helping push the culture forward in a positive direction.
Taylor Anthony Scott (born March 18, 1993), better known by his stage name, Tay Scott, is an aspiring American Hip-Hop Recording Artist, Songwriter, Record Producer and Entrepreneur from the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. Scott and his older siblings grew up on the North Side of Chicago where drugs, prostitution and poverty was very prevalent. When Scott was 10 years old, his parents decided to move their family away from the not so ideal environment in which they were living in Chicago to Minnesota, to give their children a chance at a better life. Scott attributes being drawn to music at an early age to Michael Jackson. He said in an interview for Collection Family Music Blog, “He is and will always be my biggest musical influence.” Later during his adolescence when Scott began to take interest in rap music some of his influences were and still are, Tupac, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Biggie Smalls, who at times Scott is compared to by family and friends because of his husky voice and slow pause stop, rhythmic flow. Scott also recognizes his family and mentors for their continued support and motivation to pursue his dream of becoming an established International Hip-Hop Recording Artist.
